From a young age Jim had a passion for building things. After an early career in retail management, Jim decided that refocusing his energy into the building industry would be the right move for himself and his family.  Jim decided that by starting on a framing crew and working his way through all positions in the industry he would become knowledgeable in all aspects of the construction process. With his bachelors degree in communication, his background in management and after years of hard work and learning the ins and outs of the industry, he felt confident in branching out on his own to form Straightedge Construction. 

 

Since our founding in 2007 we have been focused on learning everything there is to know about the construction industry. With our main business focusing on remodels, we know what it is like to have people intruding on your life, invading your home, and disrupting day-to-day routines. That is why we pay extra attention when dealing with these issues.  We strive to work around peoples lives, as to minimize disruption, continually maintain clean jobsites, contain construction debris with means such as temporary walls, floor covering, etc.
